What fits inside — will it hold my laptop?
It depends on the bag. Our larger Hobos comfortably fit a 13" MacBook Pro along with your daily essentials. The Smaller Hobo fits an iPad Air 13" with ease. Our Office Totes are specifically designed with a laptop in mind and hold a 13"–14" laptop comfortably. The Crossbody bags are your everyday carry — phone, wallet, keys, cards, and a few extras. What does vegan mean for this bag?
It means no animal-derived materials — anywhere, at all. No leather, no suede, no silk, and absolutely no PU, Rexine, or synthetic leather either. We don't use any plastic-coated fabric that mimics leather. The body is made from cotton canvas, the lining is waterproof polyester, and even the zip pulls and hardware are animal-free. We believe a bag can be beautiful without costing the earth or anyone living on it — and we mean that literally.
Will the embroidery fade or fray over time?
The cross-stitch embroidery is tightly knotted by hand and designed to withstand regular daily use for years. With proper care the craft stays intact and the colours hold beautifully. We recommend keeping the bag away from prolonged direct sunlight which can gradually dull thread colour, and never scrubbing the embroidered areas when cleaning. Small variations in the embroidery from bag to bag are not defects — they are proof that a human hand made this, not a machine.

How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order any time before it has been shipped — just write to us at hello@neonia.in as soon as possible and we'll take care of it. Once the order has been shipped, we're unable to cancel it. We process and dispatch orders quickly, so if you need to cancel, please reach out to us the moment you decide.
Can I return or exchange if the size doesn't work for me?
We don't offer returns, but we do offer easy size exchanges. If the size isn't right for you, reach out to us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and we'll arrange an exchange. We want every Neonia bag to feel exactly right — just drop us a message on WhatsApp or email and we'll take care of you. 🌿
How do I clean and care for my bag?
For everyday care, wipe the exterior gently with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry naturally in the shade. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or submerge in water — this can affect both the embroidery tension and the canvas structure. For a deeper clean, we recommend dry cleaning only. The interior lining is waterproof and very easy to maintain — simply pull it out and wipe clean with a damp cloth. A little gentle care goes a long way with a handcrafted piece.

Sustainability isn't a marketing word for us — it's a practice we measure and improve every day. Here's what that actually looks like:
Every Neonia bag is made from upcycled surplus fabric — material that would otherwise go to waste. We source locally, keeping our supply chain within India and reducing transport emissions. Our artisans and tailors work in good conditions with fair wages — we believe the people who make our bags deserve as much care as the bags themselves. We actively track our waste at every stage of production and work to reduce our carbon footprint with each new collection. We're not perfect yet, but we're honest about where we are and committed to doing better — one bag at a time.
